The Interior & Exterior Design Technician is a professional qualified to conceive and develop design solutions, taking into consideration use, function, production, market requirements, commercial viability, quality and aesthetics, while selecting appropriate technologies and materials and demonstrating awareness of sustainability and environmental issues.

• Design and development of interior and exterior design projects according to functional, aesthetic, technical, sustainable and economic criteria.

• Technical and photographic surveys of interior and exterior spaces for analysis and the development of design proposals.

• Technical drawing and graphic representation, including plans, sections, elevations and perspectives in 2D and 3D, using both manual and digital techniques.

• Model-making and prototyping, including the exploration and testing of volumes, materials and functionality.

• Use of 2D and 3D drawing and modelling software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp and Rhino.

• 3D visualisation and rendering of projects for the presentation and communication of design proposals.
